At von Jungfeld, we also make sure that all of our merino wool comes from sheep that have not undergone the painful “mulesing.” This process involves removing the skin from the lambs’ rear ends without anesthesia to prevent diseases caused by nesting fly larvae. Von Jungfeld therefore only sources its merino wool from farms where this painful process is not necessary, which means that all of our merino socks are “non-mulesed.” Thanks to its special properties, this olive green merino sock is your ideal companion for all activities this fall and winter, from hiking trips to baking cookies!
